Websites & Shopify

Websites built to help people understand, trust, and take action.

The problem

Your website looks fine, but is it helping people decide?

A website can look professional and still leave visitors unsure about what you offer, why they should trust you, or what they should do next.

If the offer is unclear, the page structure is confusing, or important information is difficult to find, potential customers may leave without taking action.

Your website should do more than exist online. It should make the next step clearer.

Our approach

A website built around your customer's decision

We design and build landing pages, custom websites, and Shopify stores around the customer's decision and your business needs.

We start by understanding the business, offer, audience and purpose of the website. Then we create the structure, copy direction, design and development around the agreed requirements.

The exact platform, pages, features and level of support depend on the agreed scope.

What may be included

Depending on your business and agreed scope, the work may include:

Discovery

Understand the business, audience, offer, goals and requirements before planning the website.

Page Structure

Plan the pages and information needed to make the website easier to understand and navigate.

Copy Support

Develop or refine website copy so the offer, information and next steps are communicated clearly.

Design

Create website layouts and visual direction around the business and customer journey.

Development

Build the agreed website, landing page or Shopify store according to the approved design and scope.

Forms

Set up relevant enquiry or contact forms where required.

Basic Search Setup

Apply basic search-related setup as part of the website build where agreed.

Basic Tracking

Set up basic tracking where included in the agreed scope.

Launch Testing

Test the agreed website elements before launch to identify issues that need attention.

Who is this for?

Websites & Shopify may suit businesses that:

  • Need a new website or landing page
  • Have a website that does not explain their offer clearly
  • Want to improve how visitors move towards taking action
  • Need a more structured online presence
  • Are launching or improving an online store
  • Need a Shopify store built around their business needs
  • Want their website to connect more effectively with wider marketing activity

The right website solution depends on the business, goals, platform, requirements and agreed scope.

How we work

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn about your business, audience, offer, goals and website requirements.

  2. 02

    Diagnose

We identify what the website needs to communicate, improve or make easier for visitors.

  3. 03

    Design the Scope

We agree on the pages, features, platform, responsibilities and deliverables required for the project.

  4. 04

    Execute

We develop the agreed copy, design and website or Shopify work within the approved scope.

  5. 05

    Measure & Improve

After launch, we review available evidence and address agreed improvements where applicable.

How success may be measured

The right measures depend on the website's purpose and the agreed scope. Depending on the project, we may review:

  • Relevant website enquiries
  • Form submissions
  • Booking or contact actions
  • Movement towards agreed conversion actions
  • Website usability issues identified during testing
  • Relevant performance or tracking information

A website is not judged only by how it looks. The goal is to make the customer's next step clearer and support the business objective.

What we need from you

To do the work effectively, you may need to provide:

  • Accurate business information
  • Approved offer and service information
  • Required account access
  • Brand assets where available
  • Images, products or other content where agreed
  • Approvals and feedback
  • Required legal information
  • Timely decisions
  • Access to relevant third-party platforms or tools

Website Costs & Scope

Some website-related costs are separate from the OutputDM service fee. These may include:

  • Domain
  • Hosting
  • Business email
  • Paid integrations
  • Paid tools or subscriptions
  • Photography
  • Migration work
  • Other third-party services

The exact inclusions and costs depend on the agreed project scope.

Client-Controlled Accounts

Where possible, websites, platforms and related systems should be built in client-controlled accounts. This helps keep important business assets under the client's control.

Approved work is transferred after full payment, subject to the signed agreement and any applicable third-party licences.

Post-Launch Maintenance

Any free post-launch maintenance period must be clearly stated in the project proposal, including its duration and limits.

Maintenance is not automatically unlimited or included beyond the agreed period.

What this service does not guarantee

A new or improved website can support a clearer customer journey, but website work cannot guarantee a particular business outcome. We do not guarantee:

  • A fixed number of enquiries
  • Sales or revenue
  • Guaranteed conversions
  • A particular search ranking
  • A specific level of traffic
  • Business growth from the website alone

The final pages, features, integrations, responsibilities and support are agreed according to the project scope.
